It is having a heavy-gauge copper outer vessel. Daniell cell is a type of electrochemical cell which was founded by John Frederic Daniell. Its original design comprises of a 3.5 inch diameter copper cylinder. A copper disc is placed across the cylinder. This disc is penetrated with a number of holes.
At the central hole of the disc, A tube of ox gullet is hung.
