Deflection Magnetometer

Compass box fitted on polished wooden base made of non-wrapping wood with meter scale alongside its length. Compass box is removable. Magnetometer is used for determination of magnetization of a magnetic material, the strength and also the direction of the magnetic field at a point in space. It is used for the measurement of the Earth's magnetic field, in military for measuring the submarines and also detects magnetic anomalies of various types.
