Comprises a circular aluminium disc fixed securely on top of a pillar. A nozzle at the center of the plate provides route to the flow of air through the pillar. Pillar has stop-cock for air regulation and riffled nozzle for connection to vacuum pump through suitable rubber tubing. Complete assembly mounted on a heavy cast-metal tripod base.
