Atico Scientific has been making construction lab equipment in Ambala since 1954, a leading construction lab equipment manufacturer, supplier and exporter. Our cement, concrete, aggregate, bitumen and soil testing equipment is in construction QC labs, ready-mix plants, road projects and civil engineering colleges across 100+ countries. Before a mix gets poured or a subgrade gets signed off, someone has to prove the materials meet spec and that proof comes off our machines. We build the full testing range to the recognised standards, pack it for export, and ship it at factory prices with no middleman in between.
It's the testing apparatus that keeps a build honest. Concrete is only as strong as the cube that gets crushed to prove it; a road base is only approved once the aggregate and soil pass their tests. Construction lab equipment is the set of machines that run those checks โ a compression machine that crushes a concrete cube to failure, a Los Angeles abrasion drum that grades aggregate toughness, a penetration test that classifies bitumen, a CBR rig that rates a subgrade. Every test follows a published method, ASTM, IS, BS or EN โ and the machine has to reproduce that method exactly, or the certificate isn't worth the paper. That's what we build to.
For construction materials, the standard is the spec. We build to ASTM, IS, BS and EN methods and confirm the standard each machine meets before you order. When a tender or a project engineer calls for a specific code, tell us which one and we supply equipment that conforms, with the calibration and documentation your QA process and the client's engineer will ask for.
Construction and civil QC labs. Ready-mix concrete and precast plants. Contractors and road, highway and dam projects. Government and public-works material-testing labs. Civil engineering colleges and technical universities. Ministries and donor-funded infrastructure programmes. And distributors supplying construction-testing tenders across their region.
As a construction lab equipment exporter we ship worldwide, but the bulk goes to East and West Africa โ Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana and Zambia โ along with South-East Asia and the Gulf. Most of it feeds roads, dams and building programmes, often donor- or ministry-funded, so we're used to the specs, the standards, the BOQs and the export paperwork those projects demand. Heavy machines โ compression frames, CBR rigs โ we crate and palletise for long-haul freight to the port of entry.
Q. Are you a manufacturer or an exporter of construction lab equipment?
Both, we manufacture in our own Ambala works and export directly, so labs buy at factory prices.
Q. Which countries do you export to?
100+, with the heaviest demand across East and West Africa, South-East Asia and the Gulf.
Q. Which materials can I test with your equipment?
Cement, concrete, aggregate, bitumen and soil, the full range of construction materials, plus general compression and universal testing.
Q. Which standards do you build to?
ASTM, IS, BS and EN. Tell us the standard your test or tender specifies and we confirm the machine meets it.
Q. Do you make concrete compression testing machines?
Yes, compression testing machines for cubes, cylinders and blocks, with the moulds and accessories to match, plus flexure and rebound-hammer testing.
Q. Can you supply both site/QC labs and college teaching labs?
Yes, standard-conforming machines for construction QC and ready-mix labs, and syllabus-matched equipment for civil engineering colleges.
Q. Can you supply construction-testing tenders and infrastructure programmes?
Yes, we quote against your BOQ, confirm standards, provide calibration documents, and handle export for ministry and donor-funded projects.
